THE APARTMENT - overlooking the beach and Bigbury Bay

 

Apartment 20 was refurbished to a very high standard in 2020 and has a new kitchen, two new bath/shower rooms, oak Karndean flooring and spotlights throughout, high quality soft furnishings and brand-new furniture and equipment. It is new to the holiday home rental market from October 2020.

 

The apartment is available as a weekly holiday let with changeovers on Friday. We are listed on Home Away. Prices are inclusive of all bed linen, one bath and one hand towel per person, heating, electricity, WiFi and complimentary use of The Leisure Club.

 

Please note we operate a non-smoking policy in the apartment/balcony and we do not accept pets.

 

OPEN PLAN LIVING

The modern kitchen is shaker style with Silestone Quartz worktop and fully equipped for the keenest of cooks. It includes induction hob, electric fan assisted oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge and separate under counter freezer and washing machine/tumble dryer. There is Nespresso coffee machine and a Nutribullet, electric hand whisk and electric hand blender.

 

The dining space comfortably seats 6 and overlooks the balcony with beautiful views over to Burgh Island and out to sea.

 

The spacious lounge is furnished to a high standard and has two comfortable sofas and an upholstered window seat with plump scatter cushions and throws. Entertainment needs are well catered for with a wall mounted 55" OLED Panasonic Smart TV with Netflix, a Panasonic Blu-Ray DVD player, a Bose SoundLink Mini blue tooth speaker and DAB radio. A selection of DVDs are provided together with a supply of popular board games and books for those days of inclement weather or for cosy nights in.

 

MASTER BEDROOM AND ENSUITE

The stylish Master bedroom is located off the open plan living space and has a King size bed (5 feet wide), with a Hypnos cashmere mattress and quality linens. Storage is provided in the bedside drawers, chest of drawers and fitted wardrobe. There is a hair dryer provided and for cooler months there is a wall mounted electric Dimplex heater.

 

The newly fitted tiled en-suite has a spacious walk in shower area with both rain head and hand-held showers together with wash basin and storage, WC, shaver point and large heated towel rail.

 

TWIN BEDROOM AND ENSUITE

The twin bedroom is located off the hallway as you enter the apartment. There are two single beds (each 3 feet wide) with Hypnos cashmere mattresses and quality linens. The bedside chest, chest of drawers and fitted wardrobe provide storage. There is a hair dryer and heating is available from a wall mounted electric Dimplex heater.

 

The en-suite, newly fitted and tiled, has a good-sized L-shaped bath with shower over. Both rain head and hand-held showers are provided and there is a wash basin with storage, WC, shaver point and large heated towel rail.

 

OUTSIDE

The south westerly facing balcony has wonderful views over Bigbury Bay and beyond and is located off the dining area. There is a table and chairs to seat 4 and a storage box containing a selection of beach games including buckets and spades, beach boules, frisbee and cricket for the use of guests. A lovely place for morning coffee and newspapers or for enjoying a cocktail whilst watching the spectacular sunsets.
